I write fictional picture books with humour and heart that entertain children and the adults who read with them. I often weave curriculum topics into my stories so that children can learn while having a whole lot of fun.
My personal essays have been published in magazines and a national Canadian newspaper, The Globe and Mail.
I live in Canada’s capital city with my family and work in the food safety field. I enjoy doing almost anything if it is outdoors, especially swimming, canoeing and battling my wild raspberry patch.
I am a member of CANSCAIP and the 12×12 Picture Book Challenge.
