My grandparents were farmers and also enjoyed playing the odd joke. It was fitting that when someone in my family discovered this funny, rhyming picture book about an April Fool’s Day prank that Grandma and the grandkids play on Grandpa, it became a gift for every new child born into the family. The short text and illustrated antics of the various farm and farmhouse animals made this a favourite picture book of my youngest daughter when she was just 2 years-old. April Foolishness will prime the family for April Fool’s Day, but will also keep everyone laughing throughout the year.
